Inspired by the romantic classical ballet, Giselle, this ballet blends the dark elements of the gothic tale of eternal life and resurrection with the beauty and tragedy of a love story born in death.
“It’s going to be fun. It’s something that is a great story and it’s kind of fun to do ballets that are a little bit out of the expected,” says [Ballet Victoria’s] Paul Destrooper.
